    Take flight.

Named for the Lockheed Martin AC-130 Spectre flying gunship, the Spectre combines the “Flieger Type B” dial layout of WWII pilot’s watches with a ‘70’s case shape and styling cues from classic racing watches.

    Fly solo.

With a sunburst dial pattern, radially brushed case, bright lume on its hands and markers, 4 o’clock crown, notched and padded strap, the Spectre is a pilot watch for those who chart their own course. It’s in a category of one.

    1. Excellent timepiece star rating

This is my second L&H watch purchase. Very well constructed and the bright, sunburst dial really shines in the light. It's keeping very good time. Paired with the uber comfortable orange rubber watch band, and it's something that really stands out in a crowd. Great value for the sales price at which I purchased it. (Even my wife said it was a nice watch, which is very high praise.) Extremely pleased with the purchase.

    2. Make this your first L&H watch, it won't be your last. star rating

It's really hard to say anything bad about this watch, other than the first time I saw it online, and on this sight, I didn't like it. The main pic in the catalog just doesn't do the Spectre justice. It's gorgeous.

The quality and finish of the watch is top notch, well worth the money.
I saw how much a following L&H has on WUS, and wanted to see if his watches lived up to the hype. The Spectre is currently the best bargain, though I was really tempted by the Orthos and Orthos II. The Spectre is like nothing else I own, so I finally jumped at it.

If you are on the fence about buying one of Doc's watches, the price of the Spectre, makes it a bargain. Go for it, you won't be disappointed.
It was my first Chris 'Doc' Vail watch... it won't be my last.

    3. A classic with an edge star rating

This watch is a standout. It is traditional enough to wear business casual, but also perfect for a casual attire. The styling is very masculine and the unusual face makes for an eye-catching piece. My 24 year old (med student) son is a watch fanatic and loved it.
