  1. Stunning watch! star rating

I purchased a red Orthos watch awhile back. But when L&H announced the availability of parts for modification (specifically, different colored dials), I also purchased a green modified Orthos.

The watches are quite stunning. The dials almost glow with an internal radiance, and the dials play wonderfully with the light. I've gotten many compliments about the watch, as it's definitely an eye-catcher.

  2. Awesome watch star rating

I’d never previously owned a diver, as I prefer lighter watches. But I wear my watch all the time, and spend a lot of time in the water, so I thought it was time to get a watch with a great water resistance. After reading some other reviews, I bought the Orthos as it’s distinctive and doesn’t look like all the other divers. I was not disappointed. It’s a beautiful watch. Well made, with a robust bracelet. It has become a “daily wearer”. I have several other automatics, and the Orthos is the most accurate, within a couple seconds a day.

I own an extensive collection ranging from high end to ultra affordable. This watch now rates as my absolute favorite. The build quality and attention to detail are outstanding. The specs are phenomenal. The dial is incredible....it needs to be seen and held to be truly understood and appreciated.

Disclaimer: this is my first automatic (not cheap-o) watch!

Shipping: no troubles. Ordered 12/25, and the watches shipped on 1/19. Chris kept us all updated several times about the status of shipping out the watches. Great communications!

Packaging : Shipped USPS Priority. Arrived undamaged. Well packaged with the nice padded watch box in a custom-logo'd cardboard sleeve. Plenty of plastic protecting the watch (including a round piece over the engraving that I didn't notice for several hours!).

Quality: Wow! I'm extremely impressed! It looks and feels really solid and well put together. Even with a close inspection, I didn't see any flaws in the engraving, dial or anything else! The dial is a beautiful deep red that changes patterns/brightness as you move your arm. The bezel (2 clicks/min) moves nicely, is easy to grab, and doesn't feel either too tight or too loose. The lume is bright and even.

Wear: I took out all 6 removeable links to fit my slightly < 7 inch wrist. Others have said that 6.75 inches is about the smallest it will go with all 6 links out + the microadjustments. Feels great on my wrist!

Granted, it's only been a few hours now, but I'm _really_ satisfied with this watch!! Thanks Chris!!
