Make a splash.

Sharing similar dimensions with the Cerberus (and named for Cerberus' two-headed brother), the Orthos is our first purpose-built diving watch, with 300 meter / 30 ATM / 990 feet water resistance, unidirectional 120-click rotating diving bezel, slightly domed anti-reflective sapphire glass, engraved solid-steel screw-type caseback, ultra-bright illumination, surgical-grade 316L stainless steel case and matching H-link bracelet with solid-end links and double-locking tri-fold clasp.

Made to be seen.

Designed with a mix of vintage and modern styling cues, including twisted lugs, three-color dial with both fade and sunburst pattern, applied markers, fully lumed seconds hand, and a combination brushed and polished finish, the Orthos is a stunner, sure to turn heads.

  1. Excellent star rating

This timepiece is wonderfully done. The fit and finish is equal (or better) than other timepieces I've owned or ogled at higher price points. The coloring on the dial pops in the right light. The Orthos II feels very solid in hand and on wrist. Looking forward to my next L&H purchase.

  2. I thought Orthos I was the mutt's nuts until I took on Orthos II star rating

I've been a long-time fan of the original Orthos line; being the happy owner of three different colours should speak for itself. I first admired the Blue/orange variant whilst my watch-buying was pretty much uncontrolled, just a feeding frenzy, and something made me wait until my habits had slowed down because I didn't want to rush into a purchase which I might then not fully appreciate. So it was that Orthos number one didn't arrive until months if not years after I had first seen it.
Time passed and I'd looked at the Orthos II and the new colour schemes and thought nothing further until the opportunity arose to buy a purple agate O II direct from the ever-helpful Chris Vail at Janis Trading Co.
Man, I thought that the O I dials popped! I also wondered how much use I'd honestly have for an essentially purple watch. I'm here to tell you that the level of "pop" has taken an upward shift especially due to the new handset which catch the light and shine in such an attractive way that I find myself stopping just to move the watch back and fro in the light and that my friends kinda join in!
Would I recommend an Orthos II? 110% every time.
Would I recommend buying from Chris Vail/Janis Trading/Lew & Huey? 110% every time.
Would I sell you my Orthos II? Nope - 110% every time.
